    No Connections

    Hello,

I have recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit which works great, but now it cant find my network.

    Modem- Motorola SB5100
    Connection- Ethernet Cable

My internet worked fine with xp and still works anything else.

Also, not sure if this is related, but it isn't finding my speakers or headphones.

So does anyone know a fix for this problem?

So you're saying that you can't get audio as well?
Is your network adapter enabled in the network and sharing center, or is it even listed?

Its not listed. I tried troubleshoot and all it says is that it doesn't have a driver for the network adapter. But it shouldn't need a driver when using an ethernet cable, should it? And yes, I have no audio.

Well, it sounds like you need a driver for your motherboard chipset. If you know the exact model of your motherboard, either look for a driver from dell's website, or post it here.

My motherboard is a 755Twins-HDTV. But its a custom built computer and the motherboard isn't very common so I doubt the driver is on Dell's website.

    Does this look like it?

I don't know if the drivers on this website will help because i see none that are at least vista drivers.

This other thread I read had me looking for modem drivers, but your motherboard drivers worked. I had to run the setup in windows xp compatible mode but it still works. Thanks for all the help!
