Using any software to connect to PIA while torrenting kills the LAC

Hello again fellow seveners, Im still having trouble with connecting to VPN's in particular to the company "private internet access" when torrenting. I used different software recommended by the PIA. Basically a few minutes-hours after launching the VPN while torrenting (which is allowed), the local area connection says it has no network access. Attempting to restart the software adapter doesnt go anywhere and rebooting safely leaves the pc stuck at switching off screen. Can anyone please help me out? I use an ASRock-Z77 Extreme4 motherboard. many thanks!

You are trying to run a torrent and a VPN from you company if I understand you correctly.
I'm thinking that maybe your company has a I.T. Department that might be able to give you guidance.
Have you ask them to help?

Yeah i went to level 2 i think they didnt know what could be wrong. I made a post last time and i got directed to broadcom's driver site.

Just occasionally the adapter plays up and i cant toggle it.

Ohhh, thanks, PIA could be pain in ass, LAC I had no clue.

Some ISPs will throttle or block their connection when a torrent port is detected as active. I use uTorrent free when needed, it randomizes the port on each start up.
The standard torrent ports are 6881-6889.

Thank for your help so far!

Well ive only run into the adpater playing up once. Same problem, A exclamtion mark appears on the network in the tray, attempting to restart the adapater gets it stuck on disabled until you force reboot, as the pc cannot shutdown (my best bet) due to the adapter stuck trying to enable

I don't understand it fully, but port forwarding may help out? Is the local connection wired or wireless?

Its a wired connection. I don think portforwarding would help, once the Network icon on the tray has a yellow triangle i have no connection to any network devices nor the internet.

Once again if i try to toggle it, itll disable, but wont be able to enable. This is usually done by windows diagnostic
