    Laptop = Router?

    I am asking this thread because my sis bf got back the ps3 and its really bugging the hell outta me. I still got the xbox 360 slim wireless built in. So what i am asking is, how can i turn my laptop into a router? I am currently connected to my network and i cant use my xbox 360 to my network while the ps3 is a bandwith hog and it kicks my xbox out of live. I hate it. So i wanna know, how can i use the same laptop connection to my network and share it wirelessly to my xbox 360 slim? I know the other method of just using ethernet cable but i dont wanna bug it with that. I rather do it wirelessly.

    1) Open a command-prompt with administrator privileges.
    2) Type netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=test key=testkey and press enter.
    3) Open the networking control panel. Select the interface that currently has Internet connection (like your Ethernet or normal wifi), enable "Sharing", and then select the special "hosted" interface.
    4) In the command prompt type netsh wlan start hostednetwork

    Or create an adhoc connection from Network and sharing centre for your wireless card and share the internet from the ethernet!

    You can actually do better than just sharing the internet, you can use your laptop to broadcast a wireless signal that your Xbox can connect too by using connectify. It's more like creating a wireless access point.

    Connectify - Turn your Windows 7 laptop into a Wi-Fi Hotspot
