Windows 7 - How to set up a new connection or network

Hi All,
i have problem to set up a new conection.please tell everyone how to set up a new connection.i cant make access my home network.After make new connection i see is public network not home network.i see there two connection there and in home network no internet access. how to make one home network connection.pls help.

Click on "public network" and a new window will open where you can change it to home.

That's probably not a good idea, looks like he's connected directly to his modem.

but it looks like hes also maybe set up a vpn as well

just what sorta of connection are you trying to make also

what is the set up like

modem--> computer

or modem--> router--> computer

plz can see 2nd attachment there only one connection.....i attach 1 pic in my 1st post u see in my attachment u can see two connection...how can i make one ?
