Can't access Users

Hi. I have two PC's, one an HP and another I built myself. I had Windows 7 Ultimate installed on both, and I could access the HP from the home-built and vice versa. I could access the user accounts on both, so that I had access to the desktop, contacts, downloads, etc. of each computer. However, I have recently uninstalled Win 7 Ultimate from the HP machine and replaced it with Windows 7 Professional. Now, both computers still show up in my network folder, i can access them, but the usernames don't appear. The only two options are "Public" and "DR6F0A~1~SAM", neither of which contain the desktop, contacts, etc. of the other computer. PLEASE HELP. Thanks SL
