Remote Desktop connection Hi just bought a laptop computer with windows 7 home prem in hopes that i could connect it to my desktop pc (windows 7 ult.) at home. Is there a way I can create a windows remote desktop connection with my laptop to connect to my computer at home if its on a different network. I know i can easily set up remote desktop connection with computers in the same network but I tried it with the computers on two different networks and it did not work. How would I go about fixing this or would I need to look elsewhere for other solutions (gotomypc, logmein, pcanywhere).
Thank You | My System Specs |

There are several options. One being the free logmein program for remote control.
I use hamachi as a vpn and it is more secure.
I can then use ultravnc to remote control another computer
but then you can use Remote Desktop to connect via the vpn.
I would recommend that you investigate logmein.com to see if that would suffice for what you
want to do.
