    Remote Desktop question

    hey,
my network is set up like Modem->PC1->PC2..
    they'r all Win7pro, both PC's r connected thru on-board NIC's..
i've set up Remote Desktop on both, accessed PC1 with no problems..
so my question is how do i connect to PC2?
    thx

without trying to sound (fill in the blank) this seems like a trick question...

A: the same way you accessed PC1?

im trying to figure out the clever factor in that answer, but have it ur way, i'll bite..
if i try to access PC2 the same way i accessed PC1 what happens is what is to be expected: PC1 is now being remotely controled, not PC2..

    they have different everything..
    i just connected the cable between PC1 n PC2, n PC2 just had internet..
i know PC2 is configured properly cuz i used mstsc from PC1 to PC2 using PC2's internal IP n its working fine, but when i actually try to access remotely i only seem to be able to connect to PC1..

lol? what sort of issues? all i did was enable the on-board NIC's n connect the ethernet cable..

wow, looks like i may actually have to contact Microsoft to get support from some engineer..

I know It can be done and It is very unstable or it was on my xp machine. That was the last time I really ever needed such a setup.

Is there any reason you do not want a router?
