| | Network Connection Status Window Hi all, When you open the network connection status window it shows amongst other things the number of bytes sent and received for the session. Is there some computer wizz out there who can tell me how accurate these figures are? Anyone with some insider knowledge? |

| | I am asking because my ISP says that it is not accurate and cannot be relied upon even for a rough estimate. I have checked it against my router's readings and they match perfectly. I don't believe the ISP. |

| | Are you attempting to dispute charges with your ISP? I will look it up, but I know for a fact that Windows accurately and effectively counts packets and sizes that are sent and received from the computer. If your router matches, that should be enough evidence. |
