network icon x in the taskbar

    network icon x in the taskbar


    the network icon is always set to
    if not connected and avaible connection avaible ,
    if connected
    the problem is only from today
    what can I do ?
    the network is working fine
    but icon is not displayed fine

    Are you saying that you can access the internet, even though your Network icon shows the red X? if so look here:

    Hello El Sa7eR,

    You might see if a simple restart of the computer may be able to resolve this.

    If not, then you might see if resetting the notification area system icons may help.

    Red X on Network System Tray when Internet Connection is working

    and here

    Network icon show red "X" even though wireless adapter is connected and working...

    You might see if turning off the "Network" icon, apply, then turn it back on to see if that may toggle the icon to display properly.
