Windows 7: after new SSD fitted and New Win7 installed, can't find network adaptr

Hi all. i've reinstalled a brand new OS windows 7 32bit becoz a new SSD just being installed, I've installed all drivers which downloaded from ASUS support, but i can't find the lan adaptor after that, all drivers has been installed correctly from the view of Device manager. if i insert the RJ45 cable, nothing happens, no indicator lights at all.
Now, i can only use the external USB wireless dongle in order to use internet.

Asus P7H55-M, the SATA has been set to ACHI during the ssd reason.
4G DDR3 RAM
OCZ vertex2 60GB , OS installed on it.

Double check your BIOS to make sure nothing's out of order there. Has your NIC worked before ?? With Windows 7 ?? Just making sure since you don't specify.

yes. it works before,but with normal HD,i didn't see anything related to the network adaptor on BIOS, didn't see anything can disable it. so strange.

Usually it works to remove the driver for this adaptor and turn off the machine, unplug the machine and push the start button to drain power from the MB,wait a minute then plug back in and power up then see if the adaptor appears. Sometimes clearing the cmos will make the adaptor work again.

This can also be a driver problem in which case using a different driver should fix it.

I've unpluged the SSD and use the old seagate 7200.12 500G drive (which is empty,NO OS NO FILES) to install new OS, i forgot to insert the OS disk, but a black screen with some notes telling interesting thing,

The PC wasn't connected with the RJ45 cable anyway, does that mean the motherboard has hardware failure?

New OS installed with normal HD, CMOS cleared and using default BIOS settings. only motherboard chipset driver and Realtek lastest driver installed, still same problem. cable insert but nothing happened, no lights no connection, not at all. same RJ45 cable works on another PC,BTW.. so is the MB hardware issue? any other way to make sure before send back for warrenty?

Can you see the NIC in Device Manager ??

The boot screen you mentioned earlier means the NIC is being seen by the motherboard and apparently working.

Could be a physical layer problem if the NIC shows up in Device Manager.

It's a bit baffling for sure, have you tried to install the Op system in IDE mode to see if it changes the conditions of the problem?

what's the full name of NIC? anyway, i didn't see any NIC in device manager.

I did, the bios was set to default before i install new OS to normal HD,I have double checked the SATA has been set to IDE by default.
