    Remote Desktop on server 2003


    Hi to all,
    I am working on A Big Envoirement and i am using Windows server 2003 for server and for Client i am using windwos Xp On server i have Static Ip adress and I Access server throught Lan VPN in this Enviorment but when i came home sometime server creating problem so I want to Access my server at home through VPN no other way required just like teamviewer due to security reason i want access through VPN only but Problem is i have Dynamic IP adress on home Machine and in office server i have Static IP.
    some peoples say that both computer should have Static IP but i have dnamic IP on home PC can it is possible dynamic IP will connect Static IP

    You could try setting up a DHCP reservation for your home machine's IP in your routers network settings page. That way it will get the same IP assigned like it was static but the rest of your home network can still use DHCP.
