    Shortcut to a VPN Connection...

I have two systems running Windows 7 Premium.

Quite a while ago, I set up a shortcut on my desktop to a VPN, but when I tried to remember how I did it, I am unable to replicate it on my other system.

The shortcut allows me to double click and then displays the network connection, and allows me to connect or disconnect (along with other options). Can someone remind me how I did it?

    Thanks!

In Network and Sharing Center; click "Change adapter settings" on the left. Then, right click on your VPN Connection and create the shortcut.

You also might find this app usefull -
VPN Watcher - can be found here:
UGD Software - Products - VPN Watcher

it stops selected applications when your vpn connection is down for some reason
So, your real ip wouldn't be discovered if some apps had been decided to send any data to internet at that moment
