Slow Network performance after wake from Sleep

    Hello all

I am having an issue with slow Network performance after my machines wake from sleep.

After a fresh boot of my machines I achieve 30 - 40MB/s (Wired) or 10 - 14MB/s (Wireless N) from my Nas, however, when I resume my machines from Sleep the Network performance falls to 10 - 20KB/s for both the Wired and Wireless machines.

I have found that if I Disable the Network Adapters and then immediately Re-Enable them my Netwok speed is restored.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x86 and x64 with Realtek and Atheros Nics.

All Drivers on all machines are upto date.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

not sure if it's been fixed yet... windows 7 "sleep" is a killer. I suggest turning sleep off and just just turning the monitors off after a set ammount of time.

    Hello,

You may also disable Power Saving Mode of the Network Adapter from Device Manager.

    Hello

    Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately leaving the machines on 24/7 is not an option and the Power Saving Mode is already Disabled on all machines.

It seems that the issue may be Windows 7 related so hopefully SP1 will fix it, maybe.

    Thanks
