I want to mention though that the driver is not incorrect. In fact it doesn't have anything to do with the driver. It's a Windows 7 problem. I've looked around, done my research, and this has happened to a lot of other users. While Windows 7 installation does install "generic" drivers for your hardware, I verified that it had installed the correct driver for the hardware. So this is not what has caused the addition of all these tunnel adapters.

Thanks everyone for your help and I hope this post will help someone else that had the same problem.
I've fixed this problem countless times and the only way to keep the problem from re-occuring is to find a better driver. It's not a Windows 7 problem at all, it's a driver problem. Even the auto drivers have their flaws. Those are just drivers that the manufacture sent to Msoft for auto install, many of them are far from perfect.

It's best to go to the manufacture's site for the latest drivers. This has been confirmed to be perminately fixed with a driver update on countless occasions.
