IT USB Remote NDIS Network Problem- Cannot connect to host computer?
Okay, so here is the kick. I have a rather old Aztech Modem. Model is Aztech DSL600EU. Anyways this modem has a USB and Ethernet port. Okay, so I've been using it recently on the Ethernet wire, until recently I got a new com. So now I want both coms to work on the internet.
Okay, so I started with some driver problem. In the end I fixed it. And then this is my second problem. All my lights on the modem light up including the USB light. I can surf the internet on my new com but can't on my old one. (New one is connected via Ethernet Cable and Old com is via USB cable) Okay, so this is the main problem for me.
However, when I switch cables. (New one connects to USB and Old one to Ethernet) The old one is able to function with internet. On my new one, it doesn't work. So now I've switched back again and after fondling with the wires and stuff. I finally get a connection but this connection is disabled (Old com). I tried to enable it but then it says 'enabling'.....'Connection Failed!'.
After doing furthur look through, I tried setting up an ICS, however my windows 7 settings doesn't have the 'sharing' tab under the local network properties. And also tried 'bridge connections', however I have only 1 network or so they say.
So, the question at the end of the day is. How do I get my computer on the USB end of the router to function with internet?
If you can solve this, seriously thanks, cause I've been researching this for 2 days straight and still can't come with a solution.
