No Network +2min to boot time

Hello Guys,

When I am connected to the office network, my laptop tapes about 1.5min to boot.
If I am disconnected it is 1.5 + 2minutes to boot.
If I boot in safe mode (not connected to office) its 1.5min
If I boot in safe mode with networking (not connected to office) it is 1.5 + 2min

I tried turning everything off in msconfig. all the services (non microsoft) and everything in startup. It did not change a thing.

I have tried the following two things.
- Local Computer Policy/Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/System/User Profiles "Set maximum wait time for the network if a user has a roaming...."to 0

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\
DelayedDesktopSwitchTimeout to 0

It didn't help. Can someone help me pinpoint what is delaying the bootup?

Hi! tilhasbb, welcome to 7F

How long has this configuration been running, Has this just happened?

Are you the only one that has access to this machine?
How are permissions handled?
Can you re-create the problem, and then see what event viewer has to say about it? Try to correlate event timed with your recreation.
This may help with event viewer:

1'.5" isn't too bad, but there may be something wrong with your network setup.
Do you have a habit of leaving USB devices in, and/or a HDD attached to this machine when you start-up?

For now we can leave these where they sit.
You can check Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Service Configurations by Black Viper or Pac-mans portal Windows startup programs. What are they? Are they required? How can I disable them?
But be forewarned. Be very careful how you use these sites. One wrong move, and you will be doing a re-install.

Can you change these back to their original values?

The video card could also be the culprit; poor seating in the socket, and make sure its drivers are up to date.
