WIFI stop working - d-link DI 614+ Hey guys, got a macbook pro(running Windows 7 bootcamp) and a pc desktop at home, and both wifi stop working yesterday, not sure whats going on, My iphone & powerbook can pick up my Wifi network just fine.
I have a cable modem box hooked up to a Dlink DI 614+. Im in my Dlink router config page, everything is still the same, wireless still enabled, password is still set. in the system tray, the wireless connection box doesn't show any wireless network, not even my neighbors. I tried manually adding the Wifi network in the Wireless connection network menu, but it doesn't seem to do anything. A few days ago i did try to network share my macbook pro with my desktop(which i did get working) not sure if that might have caused the wireless failure. But it is odd that the pc and macbook pro now stop working, but the powerbook is fine.
any suggestions ?
thanks.

thanks. In general these types of problems can be fixed by resetting the router. After resetting the router you will need to go through the routers set up page and enter your SSID, password, and other wireless connection settings. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built OS Windows 7 Ult, Windows 8 Pro, CPU Q9650-4.275GHz, E8600 4.5GHz, E6750-3.8GHz Motherboard Evga 780i FTW Memory G.Skill PC2 9600 1200Mhz 5 5 5 15 2T Graphics Card GTX480 Sound Card Asus Xonar D2 Monitor(s) Displays HannsG Screen Resolution 1680X1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Mouse Logitech G9 PSU ThermalTake Toughpower 1000Watt modular Case ThermalTake XaserV Cooling Xigmatek S1283 Hard Drives GSkill Phoenix Pro 120GB SSD Internet Speed T1 |
