could someone tell me best wireless settings for wrt54gs

1500 MTU size
wireless network mode = g-only (i dont have a N adapter)
wireless channel = 11-2.462 Ghz
SECURITY MODE = WPA2 Personal
WPA Algorithms = AES
now the next things are what im not sure of what i should set them on.

Basic Rate = All but can be 1-2Mbps, Default, ALL
Transmission Rate = 54 Mbps but for some reason my usb adapter only connects at 48Mbps.

check what channels routers around are using and change it i heard channel 7 is good always empty
48 Mbps is fine..

if your slow maybe it's your ISP

i still download on a torrent site at 1.4MB/s :) but i thought it would be faster with a 54 instead of 48 i dont get the difference lol. but what is netstumbler????
