    VPN and Remote Desktop

    Hey everyone!

I have a strange question. I just got the VPN up and running at my workspace in Atlanta. I leave in Orlando and have been successfully connecting to the VPN, but cannot connect to any computer via remote desktop. It works fine in WinXP and on my iPhone. Any thoughts? Ideas?
    Thanks everyone and happy holidays!!

Well, it depends on what type of VPN you have. Usually, VPN is usually used for accessing files and folders on a buisness or local network. They are not ment to connect via remote desktop. You can try getting a static ip address (I don't know how to do that) then connect via remote desktop that way. You can also do this if you have a windows small buisness server or up. You will be part of a domain and can connect to any pc on that domain. Hope this helps!
