Backup Domain Information

Hi to all.
I have a computer running windows 7 that is currently in a domain (corporate domain).
I did all the installation and when joining the domain I had to ask the IT Guy to write down his username and password as he is the only domain admin.
So, my question is: Is there any way I can backup all the domain information in order to reinstall windows and auto join the domain without asking this guy to put again his username and password?
My username already exists in the Directory, with the same password and the computer name would be the same.

No, i'm not an IT person.
But as I said, all the configuration was done by me.
The only thing he did was writting down his username and password in order to join the computer to the domain and then I continued with the configuration.
It might sound quite weird, but that's the way things are in this company right now!
So, now I want to reinstall windows without having to depend on him and I guess there should be a way to backup "domain" information considering the compuer name would be the same and the machine is already registered in Active Directory.
Any help would be appreciated!

Have him give your standard account access to join machines to the domain:

Right click your Computers container, and select "Delegate Control"
and walk through that wizard to delegate the right to create computer objects
