Windows 7: USB Internet not working along side LAN

Hi,

We have just had our internet D/C'd as we are chaning providers so we are trying to get out PCs back online while we wait for the change over. What we have done is connected the Phone to a PC and tried to access the internet.

In the windows connection and sharing center it sees the USB connection and shows it has internet but it will not allow access unless I disable the LAN card. It appears to still be trying to access the internet using the LAN eventhough it should use the USB. I have changed the settings on the adapter page under advanced and set the USB Adapter as the top connection but I still can not get this to work.

I did some reading and was advised it could be IP6 so I have disabled this from the USB and the LAN but that has made no differance. The main problem is I still need to be able to connect to the other PCs on the domain to work and disabling the LAN NIC stops that.

Any help with this would be helpful.

Oh Also I have tried using the Phone as a wireless Hotspot and a Bluetooth PAN still have the same issue. The LAN is taking priority.
