Hi jettj12,

Disable any Firewalls of Security Software for now on both computers.

Do you have Files and Printer Sharing enabled on both computers?
Enable File and Printer Sharing — MAXIMUMpcguides – Windows 7 tips, tricks, help, and how-to guides

Please Enable Netbios on both computers.

Create Identical UserNames and Passwords with Admin permission on both computers.

Try accessing each computer this way=> Click on Start, type \\ComputerName\C (or the Shared Drive or Folder Name) or \\ComputerName\C$ - you may also replace the ComputerName with an IPAddress of the computer.

Please post an update.
