    your post is a little confusing but I think it sounds like you want to set up a Lan with a wireless bridge to the other 2 machines in the other room so that they can access the network.

    Is there a reason you want the machines on 2 totally different IP ranges?
    Easy way to do that is to just slap some static IP addresses into the 4 machines and use the routers IP as the gateway if you need to access the internet.
    But you won't be able to easily share files between the 2 networks.

    Yes, I want to have a completely isolated LAN, that cannot see the WAN, but of course I also want to be able to reach the WAN, but that should be donw via the other network. I will be free from antivirus and firewall then.
