Network Drives and Users

Hi There,

I have two questions today.

1) Depending on the group each user is a member of. How can I add start menu items. For example: UserA is a member of a group called developers and when they log in they see all the items in All Users and as a member of developer they will see related propgrams. I have disabled personal start menu items.

2) When a user logs onto the system how can I connect multiple network drives without each user going through the map network drive wizard.

Is there a peice of software that can do this. If so i would like to know.

Regards

Toby Hutton

That piece of software would be called Active Directory. Group policy will do everyting you have asked for and more. Are you running in a domain environment?
