Windows loses DNS server address

Greetings, from time to time I have to re-enter manually my ISP's DNS server address in Windows 7, because it loses it. Is there a way to avoid this?

Don't quote me on this... but I think you need to Flush your DNS on your PC...
I know the Tutorial is on this website. Just search for it. I'm on a droid. Limited to what I can do.

If you are entering the DNS into your IPv4 properties on the Windows 7 machine it might work better to add the DNS entries into your routers DNS settings and leave the Windows 7 machine on aquiring the DNS automatically.

It also usually works best to use a DNS that comes from someplace other than your ISP. Many to choose from that will work better.
