Light Delay when using IE8 x64

    Hey Folks,

I just installed Win 7 7229 x64 some days ago. Everything is running stable and fast except one thing:

When I am launching IE8 64Bit, it takes only a second until the ie8 frame appears (so far so good...), but it takes another 2-3 seconds before the IE8 is "ready to use". During this time the windows sandclock appears and I cannot use the IE8. Same thing happens when I open a new Tab. I have to wait some seconds...

Interesting point is, that with IE8 32Bit this problem doesn't appear. Using the ie8 32Bit is possible as soon as the frame appears. A new tab also is usable immediatly.

    Any ideas?

    Hey again,

I just found out the reason for this delay. It's because of the Java Add-On. I installed the newest x64 Java-build and everytime when I de-activate the add-on, the problem is gone.

Can anyone confirm this behavior of ie8 x64 with java x64?
