I have the same problem.
I tried doing the Powershell fix, but it didn't want to work.
I tried disabling the IPv6 thing, but that didn't work either.
I reset my modem and router, restarted my computer, ended the services that is supposedly doing the damage but still nothing works.
I even followed that thing on having to change the address of the Local Area Connection, but still it did not work.
I really really need help guys.
I'm on XP but it isn't my favoured OS and I want to get back to Windows 7 as soon as I can.
Thanks.

Could I get some more specifis about your networking setup? I assume you have a cable modem, a router, and some pcs. Could you tell me the specifics about them
