Unable to see windows 7 shared files/folders on my macbook

    Hi guys,

I have my mbp for 9 months, snow leopard should find automatically every pc on the network but It never found my home desktop everytime, only some times.

but I could easily connect to it using automount maker or in finder with go -> connect to server.

I haven't change anything (at least as far as i know) and now my mac can't find or connect to my win7 desktop...!

my desktop see's my mac on the network and can connect to its shared folders but my mac can't see the desktop.

my other laptops at home runing windows xp and ubuntu can see the desktop too, so i don't know what is wrong!

    workgroup is the same.

this is definitely a problem from my desktop as my mac can connect to other pcs too.

    please help
