cannot uninstall TCP/IP or open TCP/IP Properties

hi i have windows 7 home premium 64bit where im loggin as administrator. Im trying to access the properties of TCP/IP but i couldnt; when i click on TCP/IP and click on Properties; the properties screen just pops for blink seconds. Also uninstall option for TCP/IP is grayed whereas i can successfully uninstall/install other things like Client for MS Networks, File & Print Sharing for MS Networks.

I triend uninstalling network card driver and reinstalling it but still same problem.

This problem is happening with my both Wireless Network Adapter and Wired Lan adapter.

The uninstall option being grayed out is normal. You can't uninstall TCPIP, IPV4 or IPV6, in windows 7. Is your network connection working? Have you removed any Virus infections or malware lately? Some times the tcpip stack can get corrupted by a virus or virus removal. Have a look at this: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

OK, other options are system rerstore to a point before the problem started or running the system file checker sfc /scannow > SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

This was linked too at the very end of the tutorial I linked to above. Extract Files from Windows 7 Installation DVD I think that would be your next step to replace that damaged file.
