    Unidentified Network Help!

First off I would like to say I feel great to be here. I've read many of the posts and you're all really helpful. I plan to stay here and help others if I am able to.

    Onwards to the problem..

Ever since a few days ago, I've been hit with the "Unidentified Network" problem. It's the only network I can see and it's a wired connection.
I use a Linksys WRK54G and never has it given Vista or XP this sort of problem. I updated the firmware of the router and updated the drivers of my NIC, but still nothing.

I've tried simply resetting the router, still nothing.

I basically did everything posted here:
    Code:
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/16757601/Lazy-Techs-Knowledgebase
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/16757602/Configure-the-Unidentified-
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/16757603/I-Decided-to-Just-Post-This-as-a-New-Thread
    ..and nothing worked

    Here's my ipconfig /all

Im assuming the only physical connections to the linksys are yours. If thats true then the only other way to show is by wifi. In the router do you have wep, or wpa enabled or is the wireless access not encrypted?

    BTW welcome again and enjoy

    Waiting for info

The router is WEP enabled, but I am using a Wired connection.

There is another computer in the house with a wired connection while two laptops use wireless. This is not the case because they have always been like this but I never had a problem with it.

    Breaking news:
In Safe Mode, I have internet.
When I am not in Safe Mode, I do not.

For comparison, I will post the ipconfig /all when I am in Safe Mode and you can compare it to the one listed above.

If it works in safe mode (with networking I assume) and not when booting normally I feel like its a driver

    Hope this helps

    Okay.
I rebooted my computer and let it boot normally into W7.
As usual I did not have Internet Access.
I rolled back the driver, but still no Internet Access.

It recognizes my location(Home Network) and whenever I am connected to the network I am able to sent and recieve packets or whatever those things are in Network and Sharing Centre > Change adapter Settings > Double Click Local Area Connection.

So once again I am stuck.

Same as using the ipconfig /all command, but first you use ipconfig /release, then ipconfig /renew
