Not as easy as the title sounds mind you.

    I did some tweaking,
at first I had problems getting to my XP systems.

Now I setup another Win7 System, tweaked it the same way,
and they wont see each other.

I can however, ping the IP's and the computer names.
Also in Nortons Security Suite, the computer came up in
    the connections for trust control.
I added it to trusted, and still no go.

Not sure what to check or where to do, as my main system is the same OS and running the same service tweaks.
    Also, to mention,
both machines see my XP computers, just not each other now.

    UPdated.

I can in the windows address bar, explore, not IE explore..
type \\Computername .. then connect using the username/password of the system.

So I can do all this, but it will not show in the normal networking window.. ??

Under Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Advanced Sharing Settings

    Is Network Discovery turned on?

yes, and it seems it toggles on and off..

as it's off, I select on, I exit the page.. come back and it's toggled off again.
