    Windows 7 Accounts Privacy Problem?

    Hello, All!

I've two accounts in my Windows 7, one is mine as an Administrator (password-protected) and the other is Limited for other users as well.

Problem is that I had to copy a file from Limited account to Admin. So from Limited account, I went to the Admin's this location C:\Users\Admin\Desktop and clicked, but it asked for Admin password, so I gave password and Admin's desktop opened, after that I pasted file to desktop and closed but problem is that Admin's desktop now opens easily without asking for password. I mean my Admin account's Desktop easily opens in Limited user account without asking for password. So how can I make it again password-protected?

    Regards,

Try going to User Accounts in the control panel and editing the Admin account. I think there is an option to Enter password on Logon

Did you log off and log on again? Normally once you enter a password for another account, it will not be asked for again until you logoff/reboot.

When you entered in the password at the UAC screen, what happened behind the scense was the Admin's Desktop folder permissions was altered to allow the limited user access. You only need to remove that user from the ACL.

In the future, if you need to move files to the admin account, log in as the admin and navigate to the limited user account files.

    Thanks!

What's ACL? How can I remove that user from ACL?
