Windows 7: Network devices only showing as media devices

Network devices only showing as media devices

I connect to a wireless network (not connected to the internet) that recently had a network hard drive added. I can view this device and other computers on the network only as media devices if at all. Other users can see the actual devices. I have tried it as a public, work, and home network. Discovery is turned on.

I can look at the properties of the drive, get the IP address, and connect via explorer using \\IPADDRESS, but I cannot view it under "Computers". Any idea what setting(s) may be messed up?
