I've only had Windows 7 a few days and already I greatly dislike it. Although there is no problem with my wireless router, 9 out of 10 times it won't connect to the internet. It acts flukey.

And now tonight - when the other day I could watch Youtube - it won't play. It will open the site but it is just a black screen for the video. I am a complete lay person so if you could spell out the fix in black and white I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you!

My guess is you are using older wifi drivers, (in which case the behavior is pretty typical and easy enough to fix) hard to say without a lot more specific information though.

Windows 7 also doesn't seem to like some antivirus programs.
Just a heads up on that front.

Dear friend,
I will spell it out in black and white! Carrying from where Maguscreed left off, without more detail, it would be impossible to rectify the situation you are in! Just visit this site and download a software program called "Speccy" : Speccy - System Information - Free Download. Install the program and either post the values and information given by that program via Print Screen or write down and post the values in your reply.

Next, go to Device Manager-->click on start--->Computer---->Right click---->Properties---> Device manager--> click to open.

What i/we will be wanting to know is 1)Display Adapter,2) Network Adapters and 3) Sound,Video and game controllers. You will have to click on the small arrow mark opposite each of these 3 ,to expand what's written under them. Kindly look for any YELLOW TRIANGLE OR A YELLOW EXCLAMATION MARK( ! ) Kindly view the snapshots i have posted below. you will have to place the cursor on each of them ,one at a time and left-click with mouse once! That will show you what we are expecting to hear from you!

Best wishes and regards,
Sreedhav
