Windows 7: hibernation problem

often when i boot my hp G62 laptop from hibernation, the wireless network wont reacquire an ipadress other than the default auto assigned ip. the only thing i can do is a full reboot. any suggestions to what i can do other than a full reboot.

ps ive tried cmd ipconfig/release and renew with no result, also disabling and re-enabling the wireless connection.
