    need help with error 734

    Hi,

Up until a week ago I was able to utilize my blackberry device as a modem to browse the internet on my pc. Now when I connect my bb device and connect, I get "error 734 ppp link terminated". What's up with that and how do I fix it and just connect to the internet like I did last week?

Did you change anythign at all in the BlackBerry? If not chances it is in device manager on the PC.

Please go to start>search>type device manager.
Are there any "unknown devices" with yellow triangles on them?
Is you driver there , listed, and working?

If your driver is missing, or there is a yellow triangle on it, you will need to update it.

Can't say for sure that I did anything outta the ordinary. I encountered this issue about 3 days ago. So I thought I'd do a win7 clean install and I even master reset my BB. Installed the latest BB desktop software including the latest carrier software package. That pretty much should have got me browsing already.

Device manager shows no yellow triangles, no error in drivers installed. Its all up to date. Do you think its a carrier network error/fault?
