hi guys, im a student in an institution in my country. My university offers free wireless connection to all student but we have to register with the IT department to use the wifi service. Im not expert in this wireless and networking thing but i know a little bit how it works. My university uses wpa-enterprise and TKIP setting for security and use peap-gtc authentication method. We need to register our MAC address and they will give us the account to get connected. The IT people gives general instruction to setup the wireless for Windows 7 users. we need to install CISCO software where there is PEAP/GTC supplicants that will enable us to get connected to my university network. However i noticed that i dont have the CISCO:PEAP-GTC setting when i installed it in my laptop for some reason. When i do it to other laptop with win 7, it works fine. Im using win 7 starter provided by my laptop's oem and i want to ask if the problem has anything to do with the starter version? what should i do to install the PEAP-GTC for win 7 starter edition?
