    ics from windows 7 to windows xp with cross over cable


    Hi friends i need to share internet from windows 7 to windows xp with crossover cable. So please some help me to do this

    I tried this guide also

    Internet Sharing using Cross-Over cable

    but its not working, its telling as i should connect atleast 2 high speed connections, even though i selected two connections

    I am having 1 Adsl modem, Windows 7 system with 2 LAn port and windows xp with 1 lan port.

    So please some one help friends, i am new to this forum and also new to windows 7

    ICS has always been a tough mountain to climb and works like crap when it does work. Since your modem connects to your computer by a LAN connection, consider spending a few bucks for a router. Not only will you be protecting your network with a hardware firewall, but it will make sharing the internet connection much much better, and allow you to be online with needing both computers running.

    Just now i finished the full network settings

    Now i can able to connect internet, but web page is not working even i set the settings in internet options.

    So please help guys, i think i was in the last step
