    Wierd networking problem

    Here is the scenario:
Comcast cable internet, Netgear router WNR3500 v2.
Desktop A (windows 7, 64bits) is wired to router. Laptop B (windows vista 64 bits) is wirelessly connected to router, WDTV live (C) is wirelessly connected to router.
A can see B and C but cannot access them.
B can see A and C but cannot acess them.
C can see both A and B but only can access B, not A.

    Anybody can help? Thanks.

The WD TV Live Community – Resources - How to enable media streaming in Windows 7

Apparently win 7 is meant to stream to it, perhaps it only sees the streams sent to it.
Link above shows how they suggest doing it.

I check my setting (as described in the link you provided).
Everything is OK, the WDTV is allowed to access my desktop.
One thing I forgot to mention: Everything were working fine in the past (about a year), but it now just stop working.

In that case the first thing that comes to mind is the firewall or antivirus possibly interfering. Sometimes they update and all the sudden decide to be a problem.

Look like you're right. After your post, I just found out that there is no way I can turn on windows firewall. Thinking of conflict in firewall setting, I uninstall my antivirus software (McAfee), but still the same thing: cannot turn on windows firewall, WDTV can not access my desktop.
    Any other idea?
