Secondary Network running VM ware, No Internet Access

I have been looking for a long time, but have found little to nothing to help resolve this. I am hoping someone here can help me.

My primary network, connecting this machine to the internet as well as my media server is running like a champ and always had.

One day I wake up and get on one of my VM's inside this machine and, low and behold it's connected no more. I have been racking my brain ever since to try and figure this out.

The seconday network has always said unidentified network, but I had access to the net. Something changed this, haven't found out what.

I have found a bunch of info about Adobe, but I have been unable to find anything in regards to Bonjour in my system. Note: I do have AIR, Flash Player 10 ActiveX, Flash Player 10 Plugin, ReaderX 10.0.1, and Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5.

I have even gone into the Local Security Policy editor and found nothing to help me get my secondary Network back online. I know it has nothing to do with the VM's, as I have redownloaded and reinstalled all my subsystems since with no help.

Basically, I'm just lost here. I know it's simple, but I'm just not seeing it. Any help would be a huge help. Thanks in advance. If you want any additional information, I'll be glad to offer it.

Under the Network Settings of your VMware... for the Virtual Drive.. can you do a screen capture. That will let us know how the VM ware is setting up your network... bridging, NAT, ect.

Another thing you can do for us is go into the VM ware ... so the network connection is active and do a "IP Config /all" and screen capture everything for us.

First I want to say, I have to confide something. Several months ago, due to lack of finances I was unable to pay for schooling and while wanting to obtain entry level IT cert's, I turned my desktop and network into a lab. Basically, so I would understand the computer world better. Go ahead and shake your head now. I'll wait. As for everything else within my network, everything is running smooth, except this. I just wanted to say that, so you understand.

I have compiled several screen shots for you guys to look over. If you feel you would like something else let me know.

Another thing I failed to mention, which you will see in the attached screen shots, is my DHCP is not enabled on all subsystems. Also my IPv6 is not enabled as well. I'm not a complete idiot, but if you can explain how to put those back online...It would be appreciated.

@acurasd: I love the net, and when you do something bone headed, no one knows who you are, and your embarrassment is saved somewhat...

Problem solved:

It was the network proxy settings, I must have screwed with it before I knew what I was doing. Failed to catalog it, and completely forgot about it. LOL Those of you familiar with VM ware, I had the proxy settings as "windows proxy," instead of "No proxy."

If you don't push buttons, you don't learn. Thanks for your help. You reminded me of my shortsightedness with the screen captures of the network settings.

Welcome and thanks for the insight of the fix....

Yes you are very true about that. I guess that is why people are more confident on the internet than they are in real life... lack of embarrassment.
