Windows 7: No public/private network option or printer available

No public/private network option or printer available

While travelling I tried installing Windows 7 Service Pack over the wireless connection and it failed badly. Many errors and a system restore later still have some problems This is one of them.

Exetel/Optus broadband has been uninstalled, but Network says "not connected to network" and wants me to connect to the uninstalled Exetel service I had for travelling. No public/private network option is available and I cannot connect to the networked printer.

I can access internet and other network computers. Network map seems odd. X on both computer side and internet side of gateway. If I turn the Vista PC (Anubis) on I get the attached network map with the switch added and the map looks like I'm going through Anubis for the net?

Does that make sense, because it doesn't make a lot to me?

How do I get rid of the Exetel remainder?
How do I get the printer back?

Otherwise I will probably have to do a full reinstall of Windows 7... Thanking anyone who may be able to help.....
