    No network connection

I installed yesterday the lastest build of windows 7 ( build 7264) but i don't have any network connection. First of all, my network adapter is on-board, the ethernet cable from the router connects to the ethernet port from motherboard. My motherboard is old, a Micro-star Ms-6575, but it worked always with xp or vista.

Please, i really need some help...

Hi and welcome. do you have access to the internet on another computer? You will need drivers which you get from the computers manufacturer?

    waiting for info

yes, i have internet on other computers. I already uninstalled windows 7 and installed again just to check the hardware, and at xp or vista is finne. The only drivers that a needed to download on the previous OS was the Sound drivers ( Realtek AC'97) and video drivers (5200 fx).

If you are having a network problem your first step should be to get the driver for networking/wifi. You can download it on another machine put it on a cd and install it on the problem PC.

    No network driver no network.

Could you tell us abt your wifi, router, modem?

    Thanks

I assume you rebooted the modem, router, and pc's. Win 7 detects the wifi if it has installed a driver. If win 7 doesn't have that particular driver it see's nothing. what kind of computer do you have, and what is the wireless model?
