yet another thread on Windows 7 resetting the connexion settings. I read here and elsewhere that some people are experiencing this problem though I haven't found a suitable solution for this so far. I can obviously connect to internet (wireless broadband) BUT every time I turn the computer off/log off/restart, my connection settings reset and I have to redo the connection manually. It doesn't take long but I can't believe that an elaborated system like Windows (?) is unable to do it alone like a big boy, especially since my old XP did it seamlessly.
In the 'Manage Wireless Networks' I set up a connection network using the wizard and it works fine. The problem is that upon restart the 'security type' settings change from WPA2 to WPA and the authentication key simply doesn't work anymore. And I have to change it back manually to WPA2 again. So the question is, how can I make windows remember that it has to connect using WPA2 and NOT WPA ?
This may have been answered already, in which case I apologise to ask again, but I didn't find it...
