Websites time out

    Next, I would try (where possible) connection as many machines as possible wired, obviously this isn't a long term solution, but if we can eliminate whether it only happens wirelessly, then we are a step closer to solving the problem.
    The problem is, I only have 1 extra Ethernet cable. There are a total of 4 systems in the house; 2 desktops and 2 laptops. To get an Ethernet cable to the second desktop would require a 10ft long cable, and I don't have a 10ft long Ethernet cable.
    Would connecting a laptop and recording the connection work?

    It's worth a go,

    If one of the laptops which is having problems can be connected by Ethernet, and the problems miraculously go away, then try the 2nd laptop, if the problems go away on that one as well, well I'd say we've found your problem.

    On another note, I've had a thought. Are there any other wireless networks in range of you?
