Please help!!!

hi, i have a toshiba laptop with windows 7... recently it started freezing right after start up, so i used safe mode w/ networking to browse the net for help. it was suggested that i do a full system recovery, taking it back to an "out of the box" state. well, i have done that, and on start up it still freezes. but now, going into safe mode w/ networking, i cannot get on the net using the wireless card. the icon for wireless networking is no longer in the lower right hand corner of the screen. any help would be GREATLY appreciated! thank u in advance for ur time... =)

Hi Chuckfeezy welcome to sevenforums. Try booting into safemode as an admin, insert your installation disc and follow the instructions in this tutorial:- Repair Install

thanks, problem was resolved last night... the cause was something having to do with a critical update...
