    Download problems

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I need help. I can't download anything. I never had this problem before, but a couple of days ago, it just stopped working. The download window comes up and it goes through the motion, but I don't see any files. I have tried to change where it downloads to, but that doesn't work either. Please help!

Is this in Firefox or Internet Explorer? Or is it in some other program?

    A. Have you updated the program recently?
    B. Is the drive path on a different partition/drive?
    C. Are you sure you are looking in the correct place?

Boy is my face red, no I haven't updated the program, i thought it was one of those things that uploaded itself. The second two options wouldn't be it (no partition and I tried to get it to save to my desktop and it wouldn't do it). I will try that.

if you try to use IE does it let you download?
also do you remember any changes that you made to your system that could be the cause of this? such as any new applications or secuirty updates?

another guy reported this problem too, but he said it is either fixed by a windows repair or using another browser such as opera, here is the thread

Thank you very much for the responses. I don't have the problem anymore for some reason, the only thing I had the chance to do was turn my computer off and back on, so I don't know what the hell the problem was. I will check out the other threads and see if I can figure out what caused it.
