On windows 7?? I have it on three comps and never had admin from an install. Normally admin is disabled and all you have is the run as administrator command. I enable it here because my second partition has the images and windows tools to do a network install. also this machine is the one I do coding on before loading it to my iis comp. I have found it is faster if I enable the admin accoun and use it to admin all the other comps. But the differance now is I am missing the run as admin command and on all the other comps and the install I had on this one before the system had enough rights to setup the network connection on it's own. All I had to do is give it the info. And it did that all day. It was working fine. I used it and had rebooted it before this. My m on my keyboard quit working. and I rebooted wich allways fixess it. But this time when it came back on, it could not get back on the network. Which makes it useless to me. To answer your question technically all 6 comps are supposed to be work comps. The others are a mix of windows and debian dedicated to the job they do but this is setup with all the stuff I need to work. The other comps are win2k, win seven ultimate, winxp, and debian. I had a nt 4.0 and 98 machine I pulled offline when I decided to go with win 7. So the answer is this comp is both. It is the only comp that I can login to the other comps with but it is also the only comp with a vidio game installed. Either way you want to look at it, I stll need a user account with run as admin and a admin account with full admin privalages enabled.
