    Wake on LAN problem


    Hi everyone,
    I formatted my hard disk of 1TB(terabyte) :)
    I've so far had thousands of problems, but managed to fix them all... except a few problems:
    I enabled WOL(Wake on LAN) and everything worked, but then I realized that WOL only works with sleep(S1 & S3) and hibernate, but not shut down.
    This problem is quite bad, as on vacation, I need to take my laptop to Italy, and I need WOL to to turn on this computer, so I could use RDC(Remote Desktop Connection) . And, if I accidentally shutdown this computer, I will not be able to use RDC to connect to this computer!
    Any suggestions?

    P.S. All the other problems are in the other threads.

    Thank you so much for replying, but the instructions on the website were a little different from my computer.
    I'll try my best to follow those instructions.:)
