Internet stops working after a while

I have a ethernet connection to a router with a limit of 4 ip addresses and there are 4 computers in my houses, with no one else hacking my internet. recently, my laptop's internet will stop working after a while and I don't know why.

    Hi zijincheng,

Do you have DHCP enabled on all the computers? Perhaps IP conflict, is there's only 4 IP limited in your router.

You may try assigning Static IP's on all the computers and see if that helps.

You may try to Power Cycle your Devices and if that would help.

Please install and run Advanced IP Scanner. You'll be able to see the IP Addressess including MAC's being used in your home network. See if you can find 4 diff IP Addresses.

Switch your the IP to DHCP and pls. provide another ipconfig /all in a text file:
Click on Start => in run or search box type cmd, run as Admin press enter. Open up a command prompt then Copy and Paste these ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt . Please attach the .txt file to be found in your Local Disk 'C' on your next post.

    An update will be nice.

You have a few of 6To4 and isatap Adapters. Let's remove them.

      • Type In: Device Manager
      • Select Device Manager
      • Click the View menu from the top
      • Select Show Hidden Devices (Must be check before continuing)
      • Scroll down and expand Network Adapters
      • Right-Click a duplicated Microsoft 6to4 Adapter or Microsoft ISATAP Adapter
      • Select Uninstall
      • Click OK for the pop-up warning message
      • Repeat and repeat for each of the unwanted duplicated adapter
      • Close Device Manager when finish
Disable IPV6: Open up Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center. For each network connection :
Click "View status", then Properties. Uncheck the mark next to "Internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6)". Click OK, then Close.

Followed by TCP/IP and Winsock Resets:
Click on Start=> All Programs => Accessories and right click on Command Prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.
Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log press enter

Test your connection after and please post another update.
