Trouble creating a peer to peer network

Hello,

I'm trying to link two computers together (both on Windows 7 Pro) in a network for a small business environment. My software program is installed on both computers and I need for it to be able to be used simultaneously on both machines. Setting up a homegroup doesn't seem to allow this access. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Welcome reimchen

Is your software program a network version program ? Where one computer is set up as the primary install (server) & any other computers are set up as workstations?
Best not to set up as a Windows 7 HOMEGROUP, but as a Business work network

The software is specified to be set up on a peer to peer network, not a server-client system. How do you set up a business work network?

Thanks!
